Well, it’s that time of year again, friends. Meaning it’s also time to fulfill our civic duty, and spend an entire weekend watching movies we normally wouldn’t just so come February 24th — after investing every emotion and tear our bodies can muster — we can watch our favorites get passed over by the Academy. I kid, of course. Or maybe not. Either way, I’ve provided links for fellow movie buffs who wish to catch up before the big night. If you have any questions or trouble with the links, feel free to leave a message in my ask.

It took forever for me two do some write-ups again, but here ye go!
I love this story!! Yet I see no chapter 7 on ff.net :(, but I shall recheck often in hopes that it appears!
When she was younger, she always scoffed at the notion of being a Lady of a castle one day. She never thought she was suited for it, and her siblings agreed more oft than not. However, time had proven that wrong, with the right Lord Husband, Arya took to Ladyship like Nymeria takes to the hunt. Sure, she sometimes forgot her courtesies, but ultimately her people loved her, because she realized something she could do as Lady of Storm’s End that she would have difficulty doing if she had been born of a lower class.
Walking through her lands, interacting with the people who lived there, she found she loved them all. She cared for the people she was bound to protect, and so she found something that brought her pleasure, which was helping those in need. An orphan child in need of a home, a sick mother, these were people Arya could help, as a high born she had the ability to reach out and improve their lives. And she loved being a Lady because of that.
If there was one thing besides her family that Arya missed about Winterfell it was taking her horse out and being able to just fly down roads and through the forest at a whim, feeling the crisp air fill her lungs and tangle her hair. Since becoming the Lady of Storm’s End every time she attempted to ride out a dozen armed men would surround her to ‘escort’ her to where she needed to go. She found herself frustrated and confined to stuffy, crowded areas desperate to smell some fresh air, to feel the freedom she once felt.
Not that Storm’s End was all bad; she’s grown used to the heat, to the smell of the sea, even to her role in taking care of the people who depended on her and her husband. The issue was that some people seemed to think she was delicate and required protecting, which was silly, considering she was better skilled at the sword then most of the knights they employed.
Even so, she should not complain, because if there was one great thing about being the Lady here, it was her Lord. Gendry knew her better than anyone, sometimes even herself, and when she found herself reaching the end of her rope, he would appear and whisk her away. Together they would escape to the forest, riding down the path, laughing and enjoying each other’s company without worrying about maintaining their courtesies. They find clearings in the forest and collapse into each other’s arms, finding much needed release.
They always return to the castle, but the scratches from bark on her back and the memory of leaves weaving through her hair as they both reached their peak reminded her that she did have freedom here, and even if she missed Winterfell at times, she would trade it for Storm’s End any day of the week as long as she could spend those days with Gendry.
I love how Kindle thinks they’re so innovative with their “no-glare” screen. You know what else has no glare? A book
BLESS YOU
I enjoy this immensely.
His pint sized lover beamed up at him as she lowered herself down his chest, fingers toying with the buckle of his belt. He was powerless as she cupped him through his jeans, groaning at the feel of her long lost hand. She kissed just below his bellybutton, her breath leaving tingles across his chest- “Did you miss me Gendry?”
So I’m working on a story, and I misspell sermon as sermen and word suggests that I meant to spell semen…it’s like even my laptop wants me to write more Arya and Gendry smut.
